Whilst we have experience in the recycling of most plastic types, we now specialise in the processing of LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene). This is a thermoplastic that is created from the monomer ethylene. Due to its transparency, this type of plastic is often used for film applications along with bottles and various other uses.

We source LDPE materials from a range of sources including the manufacturing and retail sectors which are then sent to the Turnex Processing Plant to be inspected and sorted. The LDPE is then compacted and wrapped into bails ready for transport and resale to certified reprocessors.

At Turnex, we are proud to say that none of the LDPE plastics that we recycle ends up in landfill and we always use the most economical and enviromentally friendly methods of manufacturing and transport that are available to us. Finally, we only resell our LDPE to certified reprocessors.
